Durable and lightweight, it is made with ballistic nylon, which was originally developed to protect soldiers from flying debris and shrapnel caused by bullet or artillery shell impacts. BEWARE SanDisk Products
BEWARE the SanDisk Product Lines. Particularly the Sansa "Clip". After having owned one for just about a month, Often the "Belt-Clip" would "Pop" off because it is not permanently mounted to the unit. Unfortunantly for me I did not Hot-glue, or other wise attach the belt clip permanently to the unit and it was lost. Contacting SanDisk... and first speaking to someone who had little grasp for the english language, they do not offer a replacement for this item. Thus leaving you with the option of holding the unit, placing it in your pocket... or replacing it completely with another unit of higher quality and that is supported by the manufacturer.
